Mix Tiles
This series marks my initial exploration into tile-making, where I tested the translation of digital geometry into physical form. Working intuitively, I experimented with 3D printing and basic casting techniques to understand the relationship between surface, depth, and repetition. These pieces were never intended as final artworks but served as material sketches. They functioned as small-scale prototypes that allowed me to evaluate form, texture, and modular logic through hands-on making. The series reflects a transitional moment in my practice, where computational design began to intersect with physical processes and laid the groundwork for future work in modularity and material expression.
